Consumer Health Data

Effective October 23, 2026

This is our consumer health data privacy policy for Good Company, the walking and running coach for iPhone and Apple Watch made by Fullerton Ventures LLC (“we”, “us”). Washington, Nevada and some other states have laws for consumer health data, and this page is written for them. It is part of our Privacy Policy, which has the full detail. Good Company is offered only in the United States.

In short, we collect and share consumer health data only to provide the coaching you asked for, only after you agree in the app, and only with the providers named below. We never sell it.

What we collect

Here, consumer health data means the health and fitness information the app handles:

The app doesn’t ask about medical conditions or diagnoses. Your note about limitations is optional, and you write it yourself. Your precise location and route are never saved or sent.

Where it comes from

Why we collect and use it

Only to coach you: to plan your sessions, understand and answer you, coach you during workouts, keep your coach’s notes and speak the coach’s lines. We don’t use it for advertising, we don’t use it to train AI models, and we never sell it.

Who receives it

Your records stay on your phone, and we keep no copy of them. To coach you, the app sends some of this information over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it to the provider doing the work. We share it with no one else, except if the law requires it, and we have no affiliates that receive it.

Anthropic (Claude)
Plans your sessions and writes your coach’s replies. Receives your health and fitness information, what you say or type to your coach, and your coach’s notes about you.
TypeSafe
Makes the coach’s quick judgments during a workout and reviews each session. Receives your health and fitness information, what you say to your coach, and your coach’s notes about you.
Speechify
Gives the coach its voice. Receives only the coach’s lines, which can mention something you told your coach about your body. If you choose the iPhone voice in Settings, nothing goes to Speechify.
Fly.io
Hosts our server. Your information passes through it in memory while a request is handled and is never written to disk or to logs.

How long each provider keeps what it receives is in the Privacy Policy. Anthropic’s commercial terms include a data processing addendum. TypeSafe and Speechify don’t publish one. We will update this page when we learn that has changed.

Your agreement

Nothing about you is collected or sent until you tap “Agree and continue” in the app. That screen shows what is collected and what is sent, and to whom, and your agreement there covers both collecting this information and sharing it with the providers it names. If what the app sends changes, it asks you again before sending anything new. You can withdraw your agreement at any time with Delete my data (Settings › Your data), which removes everything the app keeps on your phone, including your agreement. You can also turn off Health, Microphone and Speech Recognition for the app in iOS Settings.

Your rights

Our server holds nothing that identifies you, so we usually have nothing more to give or delete. To ask about your consumer health data, or to make any of these requests, email support@goodcompanyfitness.com. We will answer within 45 days. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we will respond within 45 days with our reasons. If you are still unhappy, you can contact your state attorney general. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.
